For this method to work, you should have the latest Windows updates installed.
This is because due to the release of Windows 10 Microsoft had pushed an upgrade tool to all windows 7 and windows 8.1 users in order to help them upgrade to Windows 10 easily.
This tool will only become visible once you have installed the latest Microsoft updates for your Operating System. Users with pending updates should update their Pc’s immediately in order to continue with the procedure and to be able to view the upgrade tool .
You might think that the upgrade tool is unnecessary and obtrusive but it does way more than giving u a free copy and reminding you about Windows 10.
Once you have your updates installed and the upgrade tool visible in the task-bar below,
1- Click on the update tool and open the window.
