How to fix Gmail Signature Image is not Showing issue

Adding a signature in an email is quite common. Signatures can also have an image. Many users have reported that they are not able to see the signature image in the email. In some cases, the signature email is shown as an attachment, in certain cases, it is not seen at all. If you are facing this issue, read along. In this article, we have gathered some fixes that can help you fix the Gmail Signature Image.

Fix 1: Delete and Re-add the Image

1. Open your Gmail in the browser.

2. Click on the Settings. (The gear-like icon on the top-right corner)

3. Click on See all settings button.

4. In the opening window, make sure you are in the General tab.



5. Scroll down to locate the Signature section.

6. Click on the Signature you want to edit.

7. On the right-hand side, click on the image.

8. You can see a small banner popping up with options. Click on Remove.

9. Now re-add the account. To do so, follow steps 4-6 and open the edit Signature section.

10. Click on the Insert image icon as shown below.

11. Browse and select a required image.

12. Try sending a test email and check if this fixes the issue.

Fix 2  – Remove formatting

1 – Open Gmail

2 – Click on Gear shaped settings icon located at top right.

3 – Click on See all settings.

4 – Now, scroll down and locate Signature:

5 – Now, Click on downward arrow icon located at the end of text field in right and then click on Remove formatting.

6 -Now, click on save changes at the bottm.

Fix 3: Host the image online and use it in the Signature

If the above fix did not help, try hosting the picture on the web and use it in the signature. You can use any hosting site. In this tutorial, we are using postimages.org

1. Open your web browser visit the postimages.org

2. Under Post your images here section, Click on Choose images button.

3. Browse through your files on PC and upload the image of your choice.

4. Once, the image is uploaded, you see the status as completed.

5. Now, you will see a lot of links below, choose the Direct link and click on the copy-paste button as shown below.

6. In the browser window, open another tab and open your Gmail.

7. Click on the Settings. (The gear-like icon on the top-right corner)

8. Click on See all settings.

4. In the opening window, make sure you are in the General tab.

5. Scroll down to locate the Signature section.

6. Click on the Signature you want to edit.

7. Click on the Insert image icon as shown below.

8. Click on the Web Address(URL) tab.

9. Now, paste the link copied from Step 5 under the Paste an image URL here

10. You will see the preview of the image.

11. Click on the Select button.

12. Now, try sending a test email and check if the attachment looks fine.

If none of these has helped you, check if the setting on the receiver’s end is causing the problem. The email service or the program might be blocking the image.
