Gaming Service won’t start – How to fix

Fix 2 – Repair the Gaming Services

Some users have solved the problem just by repairing the Gaming Services manually.

Step 1 – To do this, load up the Settings utility on Windows.

Step 2 – Go to the “Apps” tab.

Step 3 – Later, load up the “Installed Apps” panel.

Step 4 – Search for the “gaming services” and detect the application in there.

Step 4 – Run the following code to reinstall the Gaming Services package.

This will take you to the Microsoft Store page, asking for your permission to install the Gaming Services.

Step 5 – Once you are done, search for “services” from the search box.

Step 6 – Then, open up the “Services” utility from there.

Step 7 – Find the “Xbox Live Auth Manager Service” there.

Step 8 – Right-tap the service and tap “Properties“.

Step 9 – Set this policy to “Automatic” mode from there.

Step 10 – Tap the “Start” button to start the service.

Step 11 – Use the ‘Apply‘ and ‘OK‘ to save the changes.

Step 12 – Now, following the same steps, automate the following services from there ~
