How to completely get rid of spam emails on Gmail
The way of getting rid of all the spam emails from the Gmail inbox is pretty simple. All you have to do is to sort the emails using the ‘unsubscribe’ filter and move them to a separate folder, rather than the original inbox.
Step 1 – Open up your Gmail inbox.
Step 2 – Tap the ‘Show search options’ in the search box to open it up.
Step 3 – Then, write the ‘Includes the words:’ in “unsubscribe“.
Step 4 – Tap “Create filter” to create the filter in Gmail.
In the next phase of creating this filter, we are going to create a new label named ‘Spam folder’ so that all the email messages containing the ‘unsubscribe‘ item will move straight there.
Step 5 – Now, check the “Skip the Inbox (Archive it)” option.
Step 6 – Next, check the “Apply the label:” button there. Tap the “New label” from the drop-down to craft a new label for the inbox.
Step 7 – Name the label anything you want. Like, we have named it “Spam Emails“.
Step 8 – Tap “Create” to proceed.
Step 9 – Finally, tap the “Create filter” to put the filter in place.
Once you have placed the filter, all the spam email messages will be archived. Once these emails are archived, they will disappear from your main feed in the inbox. Then, these messages make their way into the separate label folder.
