Photos app is an inbuilt application from Microsoft that is used to view, edit images and videos on your computer. By default, when you delete an image the delete confirmation dialog box is not shown. At times, when you accidentally click on the Delete button from your keyboard or click on the trash-bin icon from the top menu bar in the Photos application or when the Don’t show this warning again (refer to below image)box is checked in the Delete confirmation dialog box, the opened file (photo or video) gets deleted immediately.
Although this could be recovered from the recycle bin, it can be annoying. In order to avoid this, you can enable the delete confirmation dialog in the Photos app. This article helps you to enable and disable the Delete confirmation dialog box in the photos app.
