Can’t get access to the Copilot on your Microsoft Teams application? There are some users have reported this problem where they can’t use the Copilot while they are using Microsoft Teams. Microsoft Copilot, the AI companion of Windows users, does extend its helping hands to Microsoft Teams users as well. So, if the Copilot is indeed not working or taking up much time to load, these fixes should help you resolve the issue.
Fix 1 – Use the Microsoft Teams on web
Copilot is available on the web version of the Microsoft Teams app directly on your browser.
Step 1 – All you have to do is to load up the Microsoft Teams on web.
Step 2 – You must sign in properly with proper Microsoft account credentials.
Step 3 – Once you have signed in, you can use the Copilot as a helping hand for all your chats and meetings, exactly the same as you have done on the Teams desktop client.

Fix 2 – Configure the meeting policies
There are some Teams meetings policies that can restrict the Copilot access for some users. So, you should consult the IT administrator to activate the access to the Copilot for your account. The transcription service is also needed to be enabled for the Copilot to function properly.
While on the other hand, there are some meetings where the transcriptions and the Copilot may get restricted due to security purposes. In those meetings, participant users may not get access to the Copilot to summarize meetings.
Fix 3 – Update the Teams app
See whether any impending updates on the Teams app. Install it, if that is the case.
Step 1 – On the Microsoft Teams app page, tap the small dot button in the top-right corner.
Step 2 – Next, tap the “Update and restart” to update and restart the Microsoft Teams app.
Your Microsoft Teams app will close and relaunch almost immediately. Once it is updated, you can have the Teams app up and ready. Check whether you can use the Copilot or not.
Fix 4 – Clear up the Teams cache
Clean out the Microsoft Teams cache from your local storage, and fix the issue yourself.
Step 1 – You can’t clear this while MS Teams app is running on the system. So, close the app.
Step 2 – Next, you must tap the arrow button on the taskbar and Quit Teams from there as well.
Step 3 – Next, open up a fresh new Run box. A gentle press of the Win+R keys should do that.
Step 4 – Paste this there and tap OK.

After cleaning it up, relaunch the MS Teams app. You have to sign in using your Microsoft account. Once you have signed in there, you can use the Copilot again.
Fix 5 – Try accessing Copilot from another device
If this is a device-centric issue, you should give the Copilot another try from a separate device.
Step 1 – Simply log in to the Microsoft Teams using your own credentials on the other device.
Step 2 – Once you have logged in there, give the Copilot another try.
Step 3 – If the Copilot works perfectly on this device, there must be some problem with the older device.
