Who doesn’t enjoy PUBG in their leisure times? But, your gameplay can become dull and unenjoyable if your iPhone screen becomes dim while you are playing PUBG. If your iPhone screen is too dim while playing, you won’t be able to see anything on your screen.
Why the iPhone screen dims while playing PUBG?
iPhone’s auto brightness feature may automatically dim the brightness level according to the surrounding (ambient) brightness level. Though this auto brightness controller usually works quite well, but it may not do it well when you are playing PUBG. While you are playing, the brightness level on the iPhone should be constant. Deviating brightness can be very annoying while you are gaming.
Fix 1 – Disable the True Tone
You have to disable the True Tone feature on your iPhone’s display settings to fix this problem.
Step 1 – At first, load up the Settings on your iPhone.
Step 2 – Next, tap the “Display & Brightness” center to toggle the brightness settings.
Step 3 – When you reach that section, find the “True Tone” feature. Disable that feature in there.
Once you have turned off the True Tone feature, you can enjoy PUBG without the display becoming dim. Check if this works.
Fix 2 – Turn off the Auto Brightness feature
The Auto Brightness feature is responsible for the iPhone screen to dim while you are playing the game.
Step 1 – Once again, load up the iPhone Settings.
Step 2 – Open up the “Accessibility” feature.
Step 3 – Open the “Display & Text size” option.
Step 4 – After loading up the Brightness section, scroll all the way down until you have reached the “Auto Brightness” feature.
Step 5 – Make sure it is turned off.
Once you have turned off the auto brightness, you can enjoy PUBG without the iPhone screen dimming automatically.
Fix 3 – Opt for Dark Mode
You should put your iPhone to Dark Mode appearance on the iPhone.
Step 1 – Open the “Display & Brightness” module.
Step 2 – Select the “Dark Mode” in the subsequent page on the iPhone.
Step 3 – Turn on the “Automatic” option as well.
After imposing dark mode on your iPhone, the dimming issue won’t cause any problem in PUBG again.
Fix 4 – Turn off the Attention Aware Features
The Attention Aware features on your iPhone depends upon the Face ID technology. So, while the feature is turned on, your iPhone may dim automatically.
Step 1 – Load up the Settings tab on your iPhone.
Step 2 – Next, tap to load up the “Face ID & Passcode” settings.
Step 3 – These settings are well-protected. So, you can unlock your access using your 6-digit Apple passkey.
Step 4 – Once you have reached that page, disable the “Attention Aware Features” module.
After disabling the attention aware features, go ahead and start a match in PUBG. Your device won’t dim automatically.
