No sound although bluetooth connected on iPhone – Fix

Getting no sound from your headset, even when it is connected via Bluetooth to your iPhone? Unlike the wired headphones, Bluetooth headphones involves lots of complexities. One of the most reported issues is this one, there is no sound in the headphones even when they are connected to your iPhone. If you are facing this problem, resort to these solutions to fix the problem.

 

Fix 1 – Restart the iPhone

Usually, this is a bug that can be fixed with just a normal reboot.

Step 1 – Press the Power button and Volume Down button for 3 seconds.

Step 2 – You will get to slider to shut down the device. Use the “Slide to power off” function to switch off the iPhone.

After the iPhone restarts, reconnect the Bluetooth device and test.

 



Fix 2 – Increase the volume level

It is possible that the iPhone’s volume is too low. In that case, increasing the volume should take care of the issue.

Step 1 – Make sure the Bluetooth device is connected to your iPhone.

Step 2 – Play a video on YouTube or a song of your preference.

Step 3 – Now, tap the Volume Plus button to increase the volume of the device.

Fix 3 – Change the device type and reconnect

You can change the device type on your iPhone and reconnect it to the iPhone.

Step 6 – You should be back to the Bluetooth home page. Tap the device to reconnect the device.

Fix 4 – Remove the paired device and reconnect

If you are still not getting any sound, you must remove the paired device and reconnect the device.

Step 1 – On the iPhone Settings, go to the “Bluetooth” panel.

Fix 5 – Reset all your Network settings

Clearing the network settings should remove the Bluetooth connections as well. So, do that and re-join the network.

Step 1 – Begin by loading up the Settings panel.

Step 2 – Later, go to the “General” part of the settings.

Step 3 – In the General tab, open up the “Transfer or reset iPhone” option.

iPhone will remove all the network settings and delete all the stored network parameters. Your iPhone will reboot automatically during the process.

 

Fix 6 – Reset all the settings

If resetting the network settings alone doesn’t work, you should try to reset all the settings to the default setting.

Step 1 – Load up the Settings page and follow these steps –

The device should reboot after this. Once it reboots, you have to reconnect your Bluetooth device to the iPhone. This should fix the issue.
