Solution 7: Leave Instagram Beta Program
A beta application gives exposure to its user base to all sorts of new features that are in testing. The beta testers get to enjoy the new features of an application before the general user base gets to enjoy them. Though as exciting as it sounds, a beta application is experimental and thus it could have a lot of bugs. Sometimes, you might be a beta user of the Instagram application and this could be the reason why your Instagram might be crashing a lot. In that case, leaving the beta program would instantly fix your issue.
Note: Please consider this as your last solution because once you leave the beta program of Instagram, it is very hard to get the entry back, as the empty seats fill up pretty fast.
Step 1: Launch the Play Store application from the applications drawer.
Step 2: Search for Instagram and click on the Instagram application from the search results.
Step 3: Now if you are a beta tester, you will be able to see the message Beta version is still installed. You might want to uninstall and reinstall the app as shown in the screenshot below. If you see this message, go ahead and Uninstall the application. Once the process is complete, install the application once again and complete the login process. This time, your issue should be fixed for sure!
Step 4: Even after re-installing the application, if you’re still facing the Instagram keeps crashing issue and you are still seeing the beta tester status on your Instagram page on Play Store, scroll down and find the section with the header You’re a beta tester. Under this section, click on the button named Leave to leave the beta program of Instagram.
