How To Solve OneDrive.exe Entry Point Not Found In Windows 10 / 11

Method 1: Reset The OneDrive Application

 

Step 1: To reset the OneDrive, copy the below command and paste it into the windows search bar and hit enter. Click on the search result.

If a message pops up saying “Windows cannot find…” then copy and paste the path given below instead.

C:\Program Files\Microsoft OneDrive\onedrive.exe /reset

If a message pops up saying “Windows cannot find…” then copy and paste the path given below instead.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft OneDrive\onedrive.exe /reset

 

Step 2: Now the OneDrive app will close, it might take a little time to reset. You will get a pop-up notification below on the right side of your computer screen.

Step 3: When the OneDrive is re-opened, it means the reset process is completed. Now open OneDrive and check if the issue is resolved.

Method 2: Use SFC (System File Checker) Command

 

Step 1: Open the command prompt in Administrator mode. To do this, type cmd in the windows search bar and press the ctrl + shift keys together, and hit enter.

Step 2: A user account control prompt will appear, click on Yes.

Step 3: Execute the below command. To do so copy the below command and paste it into the command prompt and hit enter. This command will scan all the protected system files and replaces the corrupted files. It will take some time to complete the scan process.
