What are the Location Suggestions?
Your iPhone Calendar can automatically suggest you some locations based on your preference, past location history, and other events. When you start to write the information of the event in the Calendar, it recommends locations automatically.
This may not feel annoying if you have less number of events across only a few locations. But, if you set up new events in new locations, these suggestions can turn out to be distracting. In that case, disabling these location suggestions can be the right solution for you.
How to disable Location Suggestions in iPhone Calendar?
Disabling the Location Suggestion is very easy. You can control of the Location Suggestions directly from the iPhone Settings page.
Step 1 – On your iPhone, hit the “⚙” to access the Settings,
Step 2 – Now, if you are an iOS 17 user, you can find the “Calendars” app directly on the home page of the Settings.
Step 3 – But, if your iPhone has the latest iOS 18 version or later, you have to go to the “Apps” tab.
The Apps folder has all the apps installed on your iPhone.
Step 4 – Look for the “Calendars” application.
Step 5 – Next, open it up.
After opening the Calendars app, you can find all the Calendar-related information there.
Step 6 – Go to the bottom of the Calendars settings.
Step 7 – Turn off the “Location Suggestions” toggle.
This is the toggle that controls the location suggestions in the iPhone Calendar. That is it! You won’t be getting any locations’ suggestion while you are setting up the events in Calendar app.
