Getting the “Assembly RSy3AudioAppStreamsWrapper.dll” error message while loading up an audio software app? A handful of users have recently posted this problem, while the majority of the problems are centering around this one key source – Razer Synapse software. So, if you are also having the same sort of problem, these solutions should help you out.
Fix 1 – Repair all the Visual C++ redistributables
There is a possible conflict between one or multiple Visual C++ packages and the Razer Synapse tool on your system.
Step 1 – You must press the Win+R keys together.
Step 2 – Later, you can just type this word there, and click “OK“.
appwiz.cpl
Step 3 – Now, if you go through the list of the installed apps, you can find many Visual C++ Redistributable files. Microsoft does update the redistributable package library every once in a while.
Step 4 – So, right-click the first package file in there and use the “Change” option to repair the C++ package.
Step 5 – Tap the “Repair” option on the Redistributable file to initiate the repairing process.
Step 6 – This way, you have to repair all the redistributable files one-by-one. There is no shortcut to this, and you must repair all the packages.
Once you have completed the whole procedure, you won’t get the “Assembly RSy3AudioAppStreamsWrapper.dll” message again.
Fix 2 – Delete all the Temp files
Sometimes, the residue files in the Temp folder can cause this problem.
Step 1 – This process is quite easy. Just hit the Win+R buttons together.
Step 2 – Type this there and click “OK”.
%temp%
Step 3 – Clear everything that you can find in the Temp folder.
This way, clearing the Temp folder should help you resolve the problem.
Fix 3 – Disable the .NET Framework
If you are still getting the RSy3 error message, try turning off the .NET Framework.
Step 1 – Quickly, hit the Win+R buttons.
Step 2 – Then, type this there and tap “OK“.
optionalfeatures
Step 3 – In the Windows Features panel, remove the check mark from all the “.NET Framework” entries from the list.
Example – .NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0), .NET Framework 4.8 Advanced Services
Step 4 – Tap “OK” to save the changes.
Step 5 – Windows will take some time to turn off the individual frameworks on your device. So, wait patiently.
Step 6 – A system restart is necessary to implement this change on your device. So, if you get a prompt to restart your computer, do it.
Once the device restarts, load up the Razer Synapse or other program where you were getting this problem, and check.
Fix 4 – Uninstall and reinstall Razer Synapse
The Razer Synapse can be at the fault here. So, we recommend you uninstall the Razer Synapse and replace it with the latest version of the app.
Step 1 – At first, load up the Win+R buttons together.
Step 2 – Type “appwiz.cpl” and click “OK” to reach there.
Step 3 – Find the “Razer Synapse” software there.
Step 4 – Then, right-click the same and click “Uninstall” to start uninstalling the tool.
After uninstalling the Synapse program successfully, you may have to restart your computer.
Step 5 – Go to the Razer Synapse.
Step 6 – Find the “Download Now” button and use it to download the Razer Installer.
This Razer installer is the combine package installer for all Razer utilities.
Step 7 – So, select the “Razer Synapse” from the left-pane, and tap “Install” to install the software on your device.
The latest version of the Razer Synapse won’t throw up the same problem.
Fix 5 – Refresh the winsock
The last solution in our list is to refresh the Windows sockets.
Step 1 – At first, perform a simple search for “cmd“.
Step 2 – Next, right-tap the “Command Prompt” and, use the “Run as administrator” button to run the cmd as an admin.
Step 3 – Paste this command there and hit Enter to do it.
netsh winsock reset
You will get this message –
You must restart the computer in order to complete the reset.
Close everything and restart your computer to complete the whole process.
