The Designer tool of the Copilot helps user generate images without them having to rely upon any third-party tool. But, just like any other Microsoft services, it is not completely error free. All the prompts may not give you positive responses. Some prompts on the Designer part of the Copilot do get blocked due to various reasons. We have discussed all the scenarios your prompt get blocked, and how to resolve that.
Fix 1 – Can’t use indecent prompts
Usage of vulgar, indecent prompts are strictly blocked at the server side of Copilot Designer. As the tool is directly dependent on Open AI’s latest image generation models, there is a restriction placed upon the creation or distribution of explicit materials. The directive includes any sexual, gore, disturbing or any other type of harmful imagery.
So, we recommend you restructure your prompt by omitting any request for explicit image generation and retry.
Fix 2 – Wait for a while and use only copyright-free prompts
We have already mentioned that the image generation process is completely dependent upon the OpenAI’s models, like DallE3. The time it takes to generate an image relies on the complexity of the prompt. So, if you are using a tricky, sophisticated prompt, you must allow a bit of time for the Copilot to generate the image.
You cannot generate copyrighted contents using the Designer tool of the Copilot. Rephrase the prompt on the Copilot, if that is the case for you.
Fix 3 – Refresh the Copilot
You must refresh the Copilot by signing out of the utility and logging back to it.
Step 1 – On the corner of the Copilot, tap your account image.
Step 2 – Use the “Sign out” feature there to log out of the Copilot.
Step 3 – After signing out of the Copilot, you have to sign in to your account. So, tap “Sign in“.
Step 4 – Tap the “Sign in” button again to sign in using your Microsoft account.
After logging into your account, you can use the Copilot Designer to generate images of your preference.
Fix 4 – Clear the browser cache
Sometimes, too much browser cache can cause this problem.
Step 1 – Open the browser which you are using the Copilot.
Step 2 – Usually, it is MS Edge. So, open that up.
Step 3 – Paste this phrase in the address bar and hit Enter.
edge://settings/clearBrowserData/clear
Step 4 – Change the ‘Time range‘ in there. Set this to “All time” mode.
Step 5 – Check all the items there –
Browsing history Download history Cookies and other site data
Step 6 – Tap “Clear now” to clear the Edge browsing history.
Once you have cleared out the browser history, retry using the Copilot Designer tool. Check if this works out for you!
