The Gdrv2.sys is a system driver which is a part of the Gigabyte tools package. Whenever a user updates the Gigabyte firmware or installs any Gigabyte suite of utilities, this drive also gets installed on the device. So, if you are getting this “Cannot load Gdrv2.sys driver” message on your computer, that is definitely associated with the Gigabyte tools. Troubleshooting this particular problem is quite easy.
Fix 1 – Uninstall every Gigabyte tools
The Gdrv2.sys driver file is native to the main software package offerings from Gigabyte, such as, Easy Tune, SIV, App Center, etc. So, the corruption in any of these apps may prompt the Windows to show you this message.
Step 1 – Hit the Win+R buttons at once.
Step 2 – Next, type this there, hit Enter.

Step 3 – Look for these Gigabyte apps in the list of installed applications on your device.

Step 4 – Tap to select any such app and tap “Uninstall” to uninstall any such apps from your computer.
Exit that page and restart your system.
Step 5 – Download the latest versions of the installed utilities and reinstall them one-by-one.
You won’t get the Gdrv2.sys error message again.
NOTE – Gdrv2.sys file can also belong to the Gigabyte Firmware Updater package.
Fix 2 – Turn off the Memory Integrity feature
The Gdrv2.sys file come into the conflict with the memory isolation program.
Step 1 – At first, search for the “security” in the search box.
Step 2 – Next, open the “Windows Security” from there.
Step 3 – Open the “Device Security” tab.
Step 4 – Find the “Core Isolation” section. Tap the “Core isolation details” to open it up.
Step 5 – Turn off the “Memory intergrity” feature.
After disabling the core isolation feature, you won’t get associated to the Gdrv2.sys file.
Fix 3 – Update the driver from Device Manager
You can update the device driver directly from the Device Manager.
Step 1 – Open the Device Manager after right-clicking the Windows button.
Step 2 – Then, look for any Gigabyte-related driver in the Device Manager.
Step 3 – Next, right-click any such driver and tap “Update driver“.
Step 4 – Then, choose to run the “Search automatically for drivers” option.
After updating the device driver, there won’t be any of those error messages. Check if this works for you!
