A decade earlier, Wired earphones were in a trend and comfortable but as days passed, wireless technology became a boom and we got introduced to bluetooth technology. This bluetooth technology is so convenient for connecting other devices like mobile phones or tablets to the computer/laptop so that we can transfer any files from mobile / tablet to system or vice versa. But then, headphones also were released with bluetooth functionality which allows users to listen to music wirelessly from their laptop or mobile phone or any music system. Recently many windows 11 users have reported that whenever they tried to listen to any audio via their bluetooth connected headphone/speaker, the audio quality was getting lower and deteriorated. Therefore, we have analyzed this issue and came with a few solutions in this post, which will help the users to listen to their favorite audio without any difficulty.
Fix 1 : Turn Off Audio Enhancements
Step 1: Press Windows key on your keyboard and type Settings.
Step 2: Then, Select Settings app from the search results as shown below.
Step 3: Click System on the left side menu of Settings app.
Step 4: Then, Click Sound option in the right side as shown below.
Step 5: Then, Click on Bluetooth device (Eg: Headphones) under Output section in the Sound page as shown below.
Step 6: In the Bluetooth Device Properties page, Click the Advanced button in the Enhance audio option as shown below.
Step 7: Click on Enhancements tab in the Headphone Properties window.
Step 8: Then, Check the Disable all enhancements checkbox by clicking on it.
Step 9: Once done, Click Apply and OK button to close the properties window.
Step 10: Close the Settings app.
Now check if the bluetooth audio device quality is improved or not.

Fix 2 : Make sure Bluetooth Driver is updated
Step 1: Press windows key on your keyboard and type device manager.
Step 2: Select Device Manager app from the search results as shown below.
Step 3: Click on Bluetooth option in the Device Manager to expand it.
Step 4: Then, Right click on the Bluetooth adapter option and select Update driver from the context menu as shown in the below screenshot.
Step 5: Then, Click Search automatically for drivers option in the Update Drivers window and follow on screen instructions to complete the driver update.
Step 6: Similarly, Click on Bluetooth option to expand it and then, right click on Bluetooth device (Eg: Zeb Paradise Or JBL headphone, etc.) on the Device Manager.
Step 7: Then, Select Update driver from the context menu.
Step 8: Like we did earlier, Click Search automatically for drivers option in the window and do the on screen instruction to update the driver as shown below.
Now after updating the drivers, check if the bluetooth audio quality is clear and audible.

Fix 3 : Remove Bluetooth Device and Add it Again
Step 1: Press Windows + I keys together to open the Settings app directly.
Step 2: Then, Click Bluetooth & devices on the left menu of Settings app.
Step 3: Click on Three vertical dots (Kebab icon) for Bluetooth Audio device on your system.
Step 4: Then, Select Remove device from the list as shown below.
Step 5: Immediately a small confirmation dialog box opens above it, Please Click Yes to remove this device.
Step 6: Now again click Bluetooth & devices option on the left side menu of Settings window.
Step 7: Now on the right side of Bluetooth & devices, Click Add device button in the Devices option as shown below.
Step 8: Click Bluetooth option in the Add a device window.
Step 9: Select the Bluetooth device from the list given below in this window (Preferably, a headphone to listen to bluetooth audio)
Step 10: This will immediately pair the device and click Done button in the final window as shown below.
Step 11: You can play any music or something and check its audio quality.

Fix 4 : Device Range Issue
- Bluetooth technology works very best when the device is within the range of 30 feet or 10 meters.
- So if your bluetooth device goes near to maximum of 30 feet, the quality starts getting low.
- If the bluetooth device still goes further than 30 feet from the music system / laptop, then the audio bluetooth device itself gets disconnected from it.
- Therefore, make sure your audio bluetooth device is within this range and preferably quite near the music system to get the clear and excellent quality audio from your bluetooth device.

Fix 5 : Perform Bluetooth Troubleshooter
Step 1: Press Windows + I keys together to open the Settings app directly.
Step 2: Click System on the left side menu of Settings app.
Step 3: Then, on the right side scroll down the page and select Troubleshoot option from the list as shown below.
Step 4: Then, Select Other troubleshooters option in the Troubleshoot page as shown below.
Step 5: Then, Click Run button to start the bluetooth troubleshooter.
Step 6: Immediately it will start detection problems in the bluetooth and tries to fix that problem.
Step 7: Now the bluetooth problem if any, will get fixed by the troubleshooter and then, Click Close button to close the window.
Now play any audio on your system and check its audio quality from the bluetooth device.

Fix 6 : Use a Different Application/Software
Most of the windows users think the device is not working properly or it is damaged when the audio quality of headphones gets low. But actually, this might be one of the reasons for device not working and that is the application you are using to listen to the audio through bluetooth device. If lets say, you are listening to music via google chrome or any other browser software and this browser is not updated or some software issue regarding this browsers arise, then the bluetooth device will give you a low quality audio output. Therefore, it is better to try other applications once and check if the audio quality remains the same in other applications too.
