Fix – Disable automatic updates option
So, you should put a stop on the automatic updates policy on the iPhone Settings.
Step 1 – We have to open up the Settings tab.
Step 2 – Next, open the “App Store” panel to load up the App Store settings.
Step 3 – After opening the App Store settings, find the Automatic Download option.
Step 4 – Next, turn off the “App Updates” option.
Once you have disabled the automatic app updates policy, the apps won’t get updated automatically.
You can now quit the Settings page.
It does not matter whether the iPhone is connected to the Wi-Fi or cellular data, the apps won’t get updated automatically on the App Store.
NOTE – Though the updates for the maximum number of apps are not that vital, there are some apps that you should always update to their latest version. You should always give importance to update the banking apps or finance or other security related apps over the other apps.
