Apps download itself automatically without installing on iPhone – Fix

Are the apps downloading automatically without you installing them on your iPhone? This is a well known ‘problem’ with the users who have multiple Apple products. But, this is a feature where the iPhone does download all the apps automatically.  We will discuss the reason behind this issue in details and the perfect resolution that can fix the issue.

Why the apps are downloading itself automatically without installing on iPhone?

The ease of using various Apple devices across the ecosystem is unmatchable. There is a feature that allows the new devices to download all the apps that you already own on other devices. This otherwise simple feature is the root of all of your problems here. While this feature is active, all of your apps start to get download automatically.

The automatic downloading of apps provides a uniform experience to the users. As the users don’t have to download the applications on their own, it saves a lot of time and effort. But the same feature can become problematic in certain situations. Like, when you are too low on storage or using a data-limited plan, you must put a stop to this feature.

To get out of this trouble, you must disable this particular function on your iPhone.

Fix – Disable the App Downloads feature

There is only one way to fix this and stop the apps from downloading on your iPhone.

Step 1 – Look for the gear-shaped ⚙ icon on your screen. Tap that to open up the Settings.
