Fix 2 – Change the Apple ID Password
If you have tried to log in to your iPhone using Apple ID with a wrong password too many times, the iPhone as a safety measure blocks you from further trying to log in and you get the error message as discussed above.
In this case, we recommend you wait for 24 hours and then try logging in using the right password. Even after 24 hrs if you cannot log in with the password you remember, please change/reset the Apple ID password using the below steps.
Step 1: You should first launch the Settings app by tapping on the settings icon.
Step 2: Once the settings page is launched, go to the Profile Name at the top as shown below.
Step 3: This opens the Apple ID page on your iPhone.
Step 4: Now select the Password & Security option on the Apple ID page as shown below.

Step 6: You might need to enter your iPhone passcode to continue further.
Step 7: Follow the onscreen instructions thereafter to change the password successfully.
Step 8: If you are having any trouble with changing the password using the above steps, go to any web browser on your iPhone.
Step 9: Visit the webpage using the link provided below.
Step 10: Once you reached the webpage given above, enter the Apple ID and characters in the image.
Step 11: After that, click Continue.
Step 12: Now it will ask you to enter your phone number associated with the Apple ID you entered.
Step 13: After entering your phone number, tap on Continue.
Step 14: Then you will get a notification on your phone number.
Step 15: From here, you need to reset the Apple ID Password by following the onscreen instructions from the mobile which has your Apple ID phone number.
Step 16: Once you have successfully reset the password, try logging into your iPhone using the newly changed Apple ID password.
Fix 3 – Check the Billing Address and Payment Methods
When the billing address and payment methods are chosen incorrectly for your Apple ID, it tends to throw such errors on any iPhone. Therefore, try checking your billing address and payment methods and changing them if it is not correct.
Step 1: Open the Settings app first for checking the billing address and payment methods.
Step 2: On the Settings page, click the Profile Name at the top.
Step 3: Then choose the Media & Purchases option as shown in the below screenshot.
Step 4: After that, it will pop up a small context menu on the screen.
Step 5: You have to select the View Account option from the menu.
Step 6: Now go to the Manage Payments option as shown below.
Step 7: Wait till it loads the page.
Step 8: Check all the payment methods listed here.
Step 9: If it is wrong, click Edit and add the right payment method for your Apple ID.
Step 10: Similarly, check for the billing address and change it if it is not the correct one.
Fix 4 – Clear all the pending bills
It has been observed that sometimes we tend to purchase many kinds of stuff on App Store and other purchases as subscriptions for various apps, etc.
When these payments get pending on the account of your Apple ID, you will not be further able to browse the App Store to download any other things and hence you get this error message as a safety measure.
So try clearing these bills or charges if any by browsing Settings > Apple ID.
