If you are looking to uninstall/install WordPad, then you are at the right place.
WordPad is an application program that comes built-in with Windows, just like the integrated Notepad. It’s a simple word processor that helps you type letters, notes, or other documents. WordPad also supports many of the same formatting commands as Microsoft Word does. Although it’s basic text editor, it’s pretty useful for users who want to make a note of something urgently, or even create important documents in the absence of Word document. However, if you want more features than what this program offers, you can uninstall it and install Microsoft Word.
With Windows 10 you get an option to uninstall the WordPad and now, even Windows 11 allows you to remove the app. The WordPad works as a complete Word document and can be a great replacement for the Notepad++ for many. While the Notepad++ is a free app and is popular with many users, just like the Notepad, the WordPad allows you do much more with its advanced features like the option to format texts, align text, add pictures, change font name or color, and more.
At the same time, there are a lot of advanced functions that the WordPad does not support, like the adding a table, changing the color of the background, checking grammar, etc. And, these broad functions are offered by Microsoft Word. So, if the WordPad features are good enough for your daily requirements, you can install the same, or uninstall it and get the MS Word.
