How to Fix Touch Screen Not Working After iOS 16 Update
Follow the steps given below in order to resolve this issue.
Step 1: Open the Settings page on the iPhone by tapping on the settings icon from the home screen.
Step 2: Scroll down the Settings page and tap on the Accessibility option as shown in the below screenshot.
Step 3: On the Accessibility page, select the Touch option by tapping on it.
Step 4: Now tap on the Touch Accommodations option as shown below.
Step 5: After that, enable the Touch Accommodations feature by tapping on its toggle switch as shown in the image below.
Step 6: Once the Touch Accommodations option is enabled, tap on the Use Initial Touch Location option under the Tap Assistance section at the bottom of the page.
Step 7: It will throw a pop up on the screen whether you want to continue. So please tap on OK.
Step 8: After that, scroll down a bit and tap on the Swipe Gestures option at the bottom of the page as shown in the below screenshot.
Step 9: When it opens, turn on the Swipe Gestures option by tapping on its toggle button.
Step 10: Once Swipe Gestures is enabled, select the Standard option under the Required Movement section at the bottom as shown below.
