Step by Step Guide to Fix Rundll32.exe error in Windows 11

Fix 1: Perform an SFC and DISM scan

Step 1: Open the Run Terminal. One can use the shortcut Windows and to do the same.



Step 2: Type cmd and hold the keys Ctrl+Shift+Enter to open the Command Prompt in Admin mode.

Step 3: If you notice a UAC prompt requesting access, click on Yes.

Step 4: Type the below commands one after the other. Make it a point to hit Enter after every command

sfc/scannow

 

Step 5: Please wait patiently till the scan completes. Once the scan is complete, restart the system.

If there were any damaged files, the scan cleans them. Now, check if this fixes the issue.

Fix 2: Clear the browser’s Cache

Step 1: Open the Google Chrome Browser

Step 2: In the Address bar, type the below command and hit Enter

Step 4: Tick on Cached images and files

Step 1: Hold the keys Windows+R to open the Run Dialog.
