Printer in paused mode, can’t resume in Windows 11 – How to fix

Does the printer on your computer got stuck in paused mode? When the printer is in the paused status, you will see the “Pause” icon on the Print Preview page or on the printer selection tab. We have recommended some solutions that should help you troubleshoot this printer problem on your computer.

Why the Printer is showing up in ‘Paused’ mode?

The office or home printers can’t handle more than one request at a time. So, if you have already tasked the printer to print something and the printer is already in the process of doing that, it won’t be available for any other printing task.

You can easily troubleshoot the issue following these solutions.

Delete the items from the print queue and then, give the printing process another try.

Step 1 – Open up the Windows Settings. Open up the “Bluetooth & devices” tab.

Step 2 – Next, on the right-pane, tap the “Printer & scanners” option.
