The last problem that you ever want to have with your iPhone is the absence of cellular option on the Settings page. Though most of the time, we can access the mobile data directly from the Control Center, but the Cellular settings contains many advanced customization options that may turn out to be essential sometimes. The solution to this problem is pretty basic. We have detailed the reason why you can’t find ‘Cellular’ option in your Settings. If you are only interested with the solution, jump to the main solution.
Why can’t I see Cellular option in iPhone Settings?
If you are not seeing the ‘Cellular’ service option on the Settings page, there must be the ‘Mobile Data’ option. Both of these terms mean the same thing. You might be wondering whether this is a bug or glitch in the iOS. This can be the case if you are using iOS Developer Beta version.
But, this is not the case here. The problem why you are not seeing the ‘Cellular’ option has nothing to do with the iOS version or iOS status. This problem (it depends on whether you consider this to be a ‘problem’) is strictly related to the iOS language and region that you are using. If you are using English language but anything except the ‘English(US)’, you will see the ‘Mobile Data’ option. To do that, you have to change the language settings manually.
Fix 1 – Change the language settings
Change the iPhone language settings to fix the problem.
Step 1 – You can change the language settings from the iPhone Settings page. So, go there.
Step 2 – Thereafter, go ahead and open the “General” settings.
Step 3 – Open the “Language & Region” settings.
Step 4 – Tap the “Add Language” option there.
Step 5 – You have to search for the “English (US)“.
Step 6 – Choose the “English (US)” option from there.
Step 7 – You will get a prompt to change your primary language from there. You have to choose the “Use English (US)” option from there.
The iPhone screen will turn dark with the ‘Settings Language…’ logo on the screen. Once the language is changed to English (US), the ‘Cellular’ settings should also come back to the Settings page.
In some cases, your iPhone may get rebooted during this process.
You will get to see ‘Cellular option on the Settings on your iPhone.
Hope this gets the problem fixed.
