iPhone stuck in App Library – How to fix

Is your iPhone stuck in the App Library? The App Library on your iPhone has all the apps installed on your iPhone. You can find all the apps categorized automatically in their own sections in the App Library panel. But, you don’t want your iPhone getting stuck in the App Library page only. Don’t worry. We have certain solutions that can help you troubleshoot the issue.

Why the iPhone is stuck in App Library?

Whenever you download a new application on your iPhone, it shows up in the App Library. It doesn’t matter whether the apps are native to the device or you have sideloaded them from an external App Store, it shows up directly on the App Library. A simple search in there and you can filter out the app that you need.

You should not get stuck in the App Library itself. It is a feature of the iOS. So, if you indeed get stuck once or twice in there, it definitely a glitch or bug in the iOS. Just got through these solutions to fix the issue on your own.

 

Fix 1 – Lock and unlock the device

If this just a glitch in the device’s operating system, you can fix it just by locking and unlocking the device.

Step 1 – Just lock the device using the Power button on the side.

Step 2 – Then, wait for a few seconds.

Step 3 – Next, tap the Power button once more to unlock the device.

The second you unlock it using your FaceID, you should be back to the App Library panel.

See if your iPhone is still stuck in the App Library page.

 

Fix 2 – Force restart the device

The second choice that you have on our list to force restart the iPhone.

Step 1 – Start by pressing the Volume Plus button once.

Step 2 – Next, hit the Volume Down button once and release that.

Step 3 – On the subsequent step, hit the Power button and keep pressing that button.

When you have pressed down the Power button for enough time, it should force reboot the device.

 

Fix 3 – Install a stable build of iOS

If you are using a beta build of iOS, you should just install the stable build.

Step 1 – You can start the process by opening the Settings page.

Step 2 – Next, open up the “General” tab.

Step 3 – Later, tap to load up the “Software Update” section.

Step 4 – In the Software Update section, open up the “Beta Updates” option.

Step 5 – Select the “Off” module from there.

This should disable the ‘Beta Updates’ on your iPhone. This may restart your iPhone once. Once you return to the stable build of iOS, the problem with the App Library will be resolved.
