Does your iPhone keep changing the wallpaper automatically? The choice of wallpaper is completely personal and doesn’t change automatically without your interaction. So, if the wallpaper is changing automatically on your iPhone, you must interfere and stop that from happening. These are the only solutions you need to troubleshoot this problem.
Fix 1 – Disable Focus Mode customizations
The main reason why the wallpaper on your iPhone is getting changed because you have customized wallpapers for separate Focus Modes.
Step 1 – To change this, you have to disable or delete the customizations from the iPhone Settings.
Step 2 – So, find the ⚙ icon and open it up.
Step 3 – When you have opened the Settings page, open the “Focus” settings.
Step 4 – Now, you can open the first Focus schedule there. Open up the “Do Not Disturb” mode.
Step 5 – Now, look in the ‘Customize Screens’ tab. If you see a different set of lock screen and home screen wallpapers, then this is the reason why the iPhone wallpapers are changing automatically.
Step 6 – Simply the tap “➖” button at the top of both the wallpapers.
[Otherwise, you can use the ‘Edit’ function to change the set of wallpaper. You should change those wallpapers to the current preset of the wallpaper, lock screens on your iPhone.]
Step 7 – Once you have modified the wallpaper and lock screen presets in the Focus mode, tap the “Focus” to return to the main Focus lists page.
Step 8 – Open the next Focus mode from the list to edit that.
Step 9 – Follow the similar steps to remove any other set of wallpaper and lock screen customizations from the Focus Modes.
Once you have done this, the wallpapers on your Home Screen and Lock Screen won’t change, even when you are using any of the Focus Modes.
NOTE – If the wallpapers are still changing again and again, you should turn off the Focus Mode from the Control Center.
Fix 2 – Disable the Photo Shuffle feature
While setting up the wallpapers on your iPhone, you may have opted for the Photo Shuffle feature that can shuffle the images.
Step 1 – You can select a different set of wallpapers. So, go to the Settings window.
Step 2 – Open the “Wallpaper” settings.
Step 3 – On the next page, scroll between the wallpaper and screen.
Step 4 – Select another set of wallpaper that contains a singular image and tap “Set as current” to set it as the wallpaper.
That’s it! You won’t face the problem with the wallpapers getting changed again.
Fix 3 – Delete any wallpaper modifier automation
Have you used the Shortcut to change the wallpaper of your iPhone? If that is the case, you must delete any such shortcut from your iPhone.
Step 1 – Open the Shortcut App on your iPhone.
Step 2 – Then, go to the “Shortcuts” tab.
Step 3 – Look for the Wallpaper changing shortcut.
Step 4 – Once you have found it, hold that down and tap “Delete” to remove the wallpaper automation shortcut.
Step 5 – Tap “Delete” once more to remove the shortcut permanently from your iPhone.
After removing the automation shortcut from your iPhone, the wallpapers won’t get changed without your will.
Hope these fixes have helped you sort out the wallpaper issue.
