Is your iPhone stuck on the Apple logo, showing this “Storage is full” message on the screen? Don’t worry. Though, this is not the sort of problem that you will face on a daily basis. iPhone requires an amount of free storage to operate correctly. You can’t just fill up the free space completely. So, follow these set of solutions to fix this issue.
Fix 1 – Update the iPhone in Recovery Mode
You can’t access the iPhone’s settings page normally, you have to use the Recovery Mode to update or restore the iPhone back to its normal state.
Requirements –
A. A laptop, computer or a MacBook
B. A USB cable or a lightning cable to connect the iPhone
Step 1 – At first, connect your iPhone to the computer using the lightning cable.
Step 2 – After this, tap the Volume Plus button once. Later, tap the Volume Down button once again.
Step 3 – Later, hard-press the Power button on the right-hand of your iPhone.
Step 4 – Soon, you shall see the iPhone screen has shut down. Keep on pressing the power button, until you see this message –
support.apple.com/iPhone/restore
This message only appears when your iPhone has booted into the Recovery Mode.
Step 5 – Load the iTunes app on your computer. If you haven’t got that, install that from the Microsoft Store.
Step 6 – Open up the iTunes app.
Step 7 – In the iTunes app, you have to log in using your Apple ID credentials. Use the “Sign in to the iTunes Store” option.
Once you are logged in, the iTunes app will automatically recognize the connected iPhone.
Step 8 – You will have two options to reset the iPhone. Now, to check whether an update is pending for the iPhone, use the “Update” function.
Step 9 – Otherwise, you can use the “Restore” function to restore the iPhone to back to basic default settings.
Doing this will restart your iPhone in the due process and at the completion of the process.
Your iPhone won’t be stuck with the ‘Storage is full’ message while loading up the iPhone.
Fix 2 – Hard restart the iPhone
If the Recovery Mode doesn’t fix the issue, you must hard-restart your iPhone.
Step 1 – At first, press the Volume Up button.
Step 2 – At the next step of the procedure, hit the Volume Down button.
Step 3 – Finally, it is time that you press-hold the Power Button there. Hold it down until the iPhone screen turns off and reboots automatically.
