iPhone is stuck on Verifying Update iOS [Fix]

When Apple releases any update, it has to be downloaded and installed on the iPhone for improvements and any software bug fixes. Also, did you know after downloading the software update, it will also verify the update before it starts installing them on your iPhone?

Many iPhone users have reported that after they had downloaded the update while verifying the update, their iPhones got stuck at this point and were unable to move forward. However, there is no fixed amount of time duration to wait until it finishes verifying the update. It could take seconds or a maximum of some minutes. But if you feel it is taking time like forever, then it is time to find a fix to resolve this issue.

In this post, we are showing you how you can resolve this issue where the iPhone is stuck on verifying update screen and not proceeding further.

A Small WorkAround

  • It has been seen and tried that several iPhone users have simply locked and woken up their iPhones and they were able to resolve this issue and start progressing with the update on their iPhones. To do this, you need to simply lock and wake up your iPhone by pressing the Power button twice. Do this many times like 6-7 times.
