iPhone Alarm is not ringing – How to fix

You can’t imagine your morning without the alarm of your iPhone? Whether it is a loud, noisy one or a melodious chirp of birds, we tend to wake up with the sound of the alarm. Fix 1 – Set the iPhone to Ringer Mode

The alarms won’t ring on your iPhone, if it is set to Silent Mode. You have to revert it to Ringer mode to fix it.

Step 1 – For older iPhone 14 or older version, see for the position of the Alert Slider.

Step 2 – Toggle it to the Ringer Mode, if it is already set to Silent Mode.

Step 3 – If you have the Action button configured to do the same, use that to Ringer mode.

When the iPhone is set to Ringer Mode, the alarm should function normally. You can set a close alarm and test it.

 

Fix 2 – Disable Attention-Aware Features mode

Sometimes the Attention-Aware features can come in the way of the Alarm function of iPhone. Disabling it can help you get a resolution.

Step 1 – Open the iPhone Settings. Go to the “Face ID & Passcode” settings.

Step 2 – Use your passcode to verify your access.

Step 3 – When you reach the FaceID & Passcode page, scroll down until you reach the “Attention-Aware Features” mode.

Step 4 – Disable this feature.

Once you have disabled this, the alarm on your iPhone will ring as usual.

 

Fix 3 – Change the Alarm sound

If you are still facing problems with the alarm, you should alter the alarm sound.

Step 1 – Open the Clock app from the search box.

Step 2 – In there, go to the “Alarm” section.

Step 3 – Now, you will see all the alarms that you have set up on your iPhone. Tap the alarm that you want to edit.

Step 4 – Next, tap the “Sound” option from there.

Once you have altered the alarm tone, the alarm should function normally.

 



Fix 4 – Tweak the ringtone volume

The ringtone volume influences the alarm tone volume. Change the volume to fix that.

Step 1 Go straight to the iPhone Settings.

Step 2 – Next, open up the “Sound & Haptics” module.
