How to remove Credit Card from your Xbox Account

If you‘re like most people, you probably have a few expired credit cards floating around. And if you‘re an Xbox user, you might be wondering if you can remove them from your payment options. The good news is that you can! In this blog post, we‘ll show you how to remove expired credit cards from your Xbox payment options. You can remove it from the XBOX console and also do it from their website.  So if you‘re ready to get rid of those expired credit cards, read on!

Step 1: Press the Xbox button on your controller.

Step 2: Go to Profile & system and then go down to select Settings.

Step 3: From the Account tab, go to the right and select Payment & billing.

Step 4: On the Payment options page, go to your Credit card which was added previously, and select the Remove option.

Step 5: In the dialogue box on the next page select Yes, remove.

Note: If you have any active subscription like the Xbox Game pass you will not be able to remove the card until the subscription is canceled.

Step 6: Select Back to payments to go back to the payment options page.

You will see the Credit card details have been completely removed from your Payment options page.

Note: You can also do the same task from the Xbox website. Log in with your credentials and go to your Microsoft account from the profile option. In your Microsoft account, you can remove your credit card with the above-mentioned steps.
