Having sign-in problems using the Microsoft 365 on your device? Microsoft 365 is not like the standalone Office apps. The logging process is an essential part of the Office 365 user experience. You can’t use any of the Office 365 apps or services without logging into the service with valid credentials. Whatever is the origin of this problem, troubleshooting it won’t take much effort. This guide will help during the entire troubleshooting steps.
Fix 1 – Use the Get Help app
Windows has the Get Help app that can actually help you solve the sign-in issues in the Microsoft 365 console.
Step 1 – Go to the Windows search box and type “get help“.
Step 2 – Load up the “Get Help” app.
Step 3 – In the Get Help app, search for “sign in Microsoft Office” from the search box.
It will automatically start the Microsoft 365 Sign-in troubleshooter.
Step 4 – When the troubleshooter asks for your consent to run the troubleshooter. Tap “Yes” to run that.
Step 5 – Choose the specific problem that you are having with the Microsoft Office 365 program.
On the next steps, the troubleshooter will automatically recognize the problem with the sign-in issue and recommend appropriate steps to remediate the problem. It may launch the Microsoft 365 log in console during the process. Use your credentials to fix the problem.
Fix 2 – Use the Sign-in portal
You can use the Microsoft 365 on the web browser. The app interface is as the same as the Office 365 app on your device.
Step 1 – These are the sign-in portal address –
For Microsoft Office 365 or CRM Online portal, use this address – Office portal.
For Azure services, this is the address – Azure portal.
For Intune service, you can go this way – Intune portal.
Step 2 – Just go ahead to the portal that you want to access and input your logging credentials to complete the signing in process.
Fix 3 – Check the internet connection
You need a proper, stable internet connection to use these Microsoft services. This is a service that requires a strong internet connection to work properly. If you don’t have a proper net connection, you may run into this issue.
Sometimes, changing the network connection can have a better impact on the log-in situation. But, don’t use any public or unsecured, open Wi-Fi to log in using your Microsoft 365 credentials.
