Fix – Enable Fitness Tracking

The Fitness Tracking feature on your iPhone lets the device measure and collect several health metrics. The Health app feature will not turn on or function properly if the Fitness Tracking feature is disabled.

Step 1 – Look on the Home Screen in search of the ⚙icon.

Step 2 – Tap that once to open up the Settings page.

Step 3 – After opening the Settings page, go to the “Privacy & Security” features.

Step 4 – On the Privacy & Security page, look for the “Motion & Fitness” module.

Step 5 – Next, enable the “Fitness Tracking” option.

As soon as you enable that ‘Fitness Tracking’ feature, the ‘Health’ option should become available.

Step 6 – Later, turn on the “Health” feature.

Once you have enabled it, the Health app will start to count your steps and monitor them. Now, it may take some time for the app to reflect your steps in the Health app. So, continue to use the iPhone as you normally do and keep an eye on the Health app.

You will see the tracking information on the Health app. Though, there can be some discrepancies in the actual steps counter information, but it will be available. Check if this works.
