Step 1: Click on the Search icon on the taskbar.
Step 2: In the search bar, type in chrome. From the search results, right click on Google Chrome and click on Open file location option.
Step 3: In the next step, right click on chrome.exe file and click on Properties option as shown below.
Step 4: In the Chrome Properties windows, click on the Compatibility tab.
As next, click on the button Change high DPI settings button at the bottom part of the window.
Step 5: As next, make sure the checkbox corresponding to Override high DPI scaling behavior. Scaling performed by: is checked. Also, choose Application option from the drop down menu associated with it.
Step 6: Hit Ok button once you are done.
Step 7: When you are back at the Chrome Properties window, hit Apply button first and then the OK button.
Relaunch Google Chrome and see if you are still facing the issue.
How to Fix Blurry File Open / Save As Dialog Boxes in Microsoft Edge Browser
At times, Microsoft Edge browser is also well known in exhibiting this behavior. However, the steps to fix this issue with Edge browser is also very similar to the steps that we performed for Google Chrome browser.
Step 1: Right click on Microsoft Edge browser and click on Properties option.
Step 2: In the Microsoft Edge Properties window, click on the tab named Compatibility.
Under the Settings section, click on the button Change high DPI settings next.
Step 3: Select the option Override high DPI scaling behavior. Scaling performed by:
Choose the option Application from the drop-down menu associated.
Step 4: Hit OK button next.
Step 5: You will now be back at the Microsoft Edge Properties window. Hit Apply button and then the OK button.
After performing the steps above, try relaunching Microsoft Edge again and check if the issue is still present.
