Do the candles have disappeared from the TradingView web interface? There is no doubt that TradingView offers one of the best live stock trading experiences. It has so many intricate features, that sometimes you may feel overwhelmed by them. So, if you can’t find the candles on the TradingView portal, here are some solutions that may help you.
Fix 1 – Unhide the stocks view
While there is no limit on how many stocks that you can view on the TradingView, too many stock on the same tab can clutter it very easily. So, sometimes, some of the stocks get hidden from the tray. You can unhide the stock following these steps.
Step 1 – Open the TradingView portal.
Step 2 – Now, look for the stocks on the TradingView pane.
Step 3 – See if there is a hide icon (👁️) present beside any of the stocks.
Step 4 – If there are any suck stocks that, tap the same icon to make it visible on the panel.
Step 5 – The stock will become visible once again.
Go for the next one, if this one doesn’t help.
Fix 2 – Change the view type
There are lots of views available on the TradingView app. You can take a different view on the stock’s situation on the website.
Step 1 – On the TradingView portal, you will see the View type on the top.
Step 2 – The default view type is set to “Bar“. Tap that once.
Step 3 – Next, select a different view from the drop-down. Select “Candles” from there to view the trading candles.
NOTE – After this, use the Ctrl and the scroll wheel button to zoom in and out to view the candles correctly. If you zoom in too much, the candles will become too big, and too much zoomed out view can overlap one on another. Maintain a standard zoom level for the optimum experience.

Fix 3 – Alter the time frame
You can modify the Time Frame on the TradingView portal to fix the candles’ disappearance issue. The Time Frame is the interval after which the candles gets updated or created.
Step 1 – Look at the top bar on the TradingView portal.
Step 2 – Tap the timeframe button there. It should have a number (like 1m, 2m).
Step 3 – After this, tap a suitable time frame to select and apply it on your panel.
NOTE – Custom time frames or the sub-minute time interval requires at least a premium TradingView plan. You can’t modify the interval accordingly in the Basic plan.
