Last line no longer available on iPhone – Fix

Seeing this “Last line no longer available” on your iPhone? This problem is directly related to the eSIM and cellular services on your device. The issue appears on the device while making a call from the device. This issue deserves a detailed explanation. So, we have mentioned the reason behind the issue in detail, with a very easy fix that can solve the issue.

Why am I seeing ‘Last line no longer available’ message?

The line that is mentioned in the error prompt is the caller ID line. If you are using an eSIM on your iPhone, there should two lines. One of these lines is the physical SIM line, and another is the eSIM line. The contradiction or absence of the last used line has caused this problem. Suppose you have dialed up a number using one of the line before. Now, if the line that you have used earlier becomes unavailable while dialing up the next one, this error message shows up.

Fixing this problem is very easy, and you can fix it on your own. All you have to do is to clear all the Recent logs on from the Phone app. Doing this should reset that feature on the iPhone. So, without wasting any more time, follow these steps to fix the problem instantaneously.

Fix 1 – Clear all the recent calls

Clear out all the recent calls from your iPhone.

Step 1 – Open up the Phone app.

Step 2 – Go to the “Recents” tab.

Step 3 – While you are in there, you can tap the “Edit” button on the left-hand side corner.
