Why the mobile data is not working on my iPhone?
The features of mobile data is completely dependent upon the cellular connection on your iPhone. It clearly varies according to the signal strength received by your phone antennas. In this matter, the location of your iPhone and the nearby environment also plays a vital role.
While these factors influence the mobile service on your iPhone, the cellular service also depends upon the network coverage offered by your carrier operator. If you are in a remote location without a service, you can’t expect mobile data service.
Fix 1 – Turn off the mobile data, restart it
Turn off the mobile data, wait for a few seconds and re-enable the same on your iPhone.
Step 1 – At first, scroll down from the top to open the Control Center.
Step 2 – Next, disable the Mobile Data from there. Additionally, disable all the features like Bluetooth, Wi-Fi as well.
Step 3 – Later, wait for 5–10 seconds.
Step 4 – Then, reinstate the mobile data from the same zone of the Control Center.
After this, you can use the mobile data services. Check whether this works out for you or not.
Fix 2 – Reset the network settings
If you still can’t use the mobile data, you must reset the network settings on your iPhone.
Step 1 – We have to open up the Settings on the iPhone. To do that, touch the ⚙icon on there.
Step 2 – Next, go to the “General” part of the Settings.
Step 3 – In that General part, slide through the page and open up the “Transfer or reset iPhone“.
Step 4 – Thereafter, you can tap the “Reset” option to get access to the list of available resetting tools.
Step 5 – Choose the “Reset network settings” option from the list.
The resetting process of the network features won’t begin unless you use the Apple Passkey. This should remove all the saved up network configuration data from your iPhone local storage.
Soon after executing the resetting process, your iPhone shall reboot automatically. When it does that, you can use the mobile data again on your iPhone. Check if this works out for you!
