iPhones keep connecting when near to each other: Fix

Is your iPhones keep connecting automatically when they are near to each other? Usually, your iPhones should not be connecting automatically to one another, even when you have place them close enough. Troubleshooting this is quite easy. All you have to do is to change a particular setting on your iPhone settings (on both of the device) and they won’t get connected automatically.

Fix  – Disable the Bringing Devices Together setting

The main reason why your iPhones are getting connected automatically is because this particular settings are enabled on your device. So, whenever the Airdrop settings is On and this ‘Bringing Devices Together’ setting is enabled, the iPhones will get connected.

Step 1 – To disable this, get to the iPhone Settings.

Step 2 – Next, get to the “General” tab in there.

Step 4 – In the ‘Start scanning by’ mode, set the “Bringing Devices Together” mode to “Off” mode.

Once you have disabled it, your iPhones won’t get reconnected anymore. No matter how close you put them, they won’t establish a connection via AirDrop.

NOTE – You have to disable the ‘Bringing Devices Together’ settings in the other iPhone device as well. Doing this should finally fix the problem altogether.
