How to Fix iPhone Yellow Screen [SOLVED]

Most iPhone users have observed a different colour tone on their iPhone screen that almost looks like a yellow tint. Not everybody likes to have this yellow tint on their iPhone screen and they want to have a little whiter and brighter look on the screen.

Even though the yellowish tint is nothing but the warmer soothing effect that some settings on the iPhone give you while looking at the screen yet most users want to have a whiter and brighter look.

There are certain settings and options on your iPhone which may or may not be enabled by default initially but might have been changed later for some obvious reasons.

Let us have a look at those settings and options and try and change them to make your iPhone screen look whiter and reduce the yellow tint in this article below.

Fix 1 – Turn Off the True Tone option

Step 1: Open the Settings app by clicking on the settings icon.

Step 2: Then, click on the Display & Brightness option from the settings page menu as shown in the below screenshot.

Step 3: Disable the True Tone option by tapping on the toggle switch to grey color.

Fix 2 – Change the Night Shift settings

Step 1: First, you should launch the settings page and select the Display & Brightness option.

Step 2: Choose the Night Shift option from the list by clicking on it.

Step 3: Now turn off the Manually Enable Until Tomorrow option by clicking on the toggle button as shown in the below image.

Fix 3 – Turn off Color Filters on your iPhone

Step 1: Go to the settings page and click on the Accessibility option.

Step 2: Then click on the Display & Text Size option from the Accessibility list as shown below.

Step 3: At the bottom section, you will find the Colour Filters option which you have to select by clicking on it.

Step 4: Now enable the Colour Filters option if it is not turned on.

Step 5: After enabling the Colour Filters, select the Colour Tint option from the Colour Filters list.

Step 6: Once selected, decrease the Intensity option by sliding it to the leftmost end.

Step 7: At last, you can adjust the colour hue according to your preference whether it should be red-hue, blue-hue, etc.
