iPhone Won’t Ring Every Time While Receiving Calls [Fix]

Many iPhone users have experienced an unusual issue on their iPhones that they are not notified or alerted by ringing the tone if they receive any calls. They complain that their iPhones won’t ring every time they receive calls from anybody.

This is actually a serious problem that cannot be ignored and users are clueless about what to do in fixing this issue and getting back to their work.

We have figured out a few possibilities as to why this issue occurred for some iPhone users, which are listed below.

  • Network outage in your area
  • iPhone must be muted
  • The call Forwarding feature must have been enabled
  • The auto-Answer call setting is turned on.

These are some of the potential causes why your iPhone may not be ringing while receiving calls. In this guide, you will find many solutions that are compiled to resolve this issue.

Fix 1 – Check the MUTE button on the side

If you notice a button on the left side of the iPhone just above the volume change buttons. This button when switched down, the iPhone stops ringing when it receives any calls from anybody. It means the iPhone is muted.

So there is a chance that the user must have enabled the mute button on the side of an iPhone and forgotten about it. Therefore, we suggest our users try checking the mute button and ensure it is switched to an upward direction.

If it is not muted, then try other solutions given below.
