Brightness Keeps Changing Even If Auto-Brightness is Turned Off on iPhone [Solved]

Auto-Brightness is the feature present in most mobile phones these days which when enabled, allows the screen brightness to get adjusted according to the surrounding light. It means when there is low light in the room, it lowers the brightness of the phone and increases the brightness when you are in the broad daylight outside.

But some users who are uncomfortable with this feature turned off Auto-brightness on their phones. Recently many reported that even after turning off the Auto-Brightness feature on the iPhone, the iPhone’s screen brightness keeps changing and this is not what the users wanted.

Fix 1 – Turn Off the Auto-Brightness option

 

Step 1: Open the Settings page on your iPhone and tap on the Accessibility option.

Step 3: Now turn off the Auto-Brightness feature by tapping on its toggle button to disable it.

Step 4: After it is disabled, you will see that the screen brightness does not change with the surrounding light.

Fix 2 – Turn Off Night Shift

 

Step 1: Open the iPhone and go to the Settings page.

Step 2: Tap on the Display & Brightness option once.

Step 3: Scroll down the page and you will find an option called Night Shift.

Step 4: Tap on it to open its page.

Step 5: Now tap on the Scheduled toggle button to turn it Off as shown in the below screenshot.

Fix 3 – Disable Reduce White Point feature

 

Step 1: First of all, open the Settings page on your iPhone after unlocking it.

Step 2: Then go to the Accessibility page by tapping on the Accessibility option from the Settings page.

Fix 4 – Cool down your iPhone

Fix 6 – Disable the True Tone feature

 

Step 1: Tap on the Settings icon to open the Settings page.

Step 2: Now tap on the Display & Brightness option once.

Step 3: Under the Brightness section, tap on the True Tone option’s toggle button once to turn it Off by changing its color from green to grey.

Fix 7 – Restart your iPhone

 

Sometimes, restarting any device can fix most of the problems caused by various factors. So we advise you to try restarting your iPhone and see if this works.

Step 1: Open the Settings page on your iPhone.
