Remove/Change the iPhone Case
Sometimes, these types of problems occur on any smartphone due to the case that covers it. Some iPhone cases are very tight and it exerts some pressure on the volume buttons and power buttons as well of the iPhone.
When there is some pressure built on the volume button of the iPhone, it gets pressed and the iPhone volume gets changed. So we suggest our users try removing the iPhone case and see if the issue was caused due to the case. If so, please replace the iPhone case with better ones that are not too tight and cover it comfortably.
Restart the iPhone
When there is some problem inside the iPhone whether software or hardware, it can be rectified by rebooting the iPhone. Many iPhone users have claimed that they were able to fix this issue by restarting their iPhones by going to Settings > General > Shut Down.
Then to switch on the iPhone, you need to press and hold the volume up and power button on the sides together until Apple Logo appears on the iPhone screen. This restarts the iPhone and you will notice that the issue has been resolved.
Update the iPhone
After receiving feedback from Apple iPhone users, they resolve major issues and release the latest software build regularly. If any users miss downloading and installing that update, the user might find these types of problems on their iPhones.
So try updating your iPhone first by going to Settings > General > Software Update and if there is any update available, please download and install it to see if this works.
