Has the Home Button disappeared from the bottom pane of your Samsung phone? This is happening simply because you have switched to the gesture mode from the regular Navigation bar mode. That’s why the home buttons or the other two buttons are not appearing on the bottom of the screen.
Fix 1 – Enable the Navigation bar
This can be a bug as well. So, manually turn on the Navigation bar on your phone.
Step 1 – Before you do anything, just swipe up once.
Step 2 – Then, open the “Settings“.
Step 3 – Open the “Display” settings on your phone.
Step 4 – Now, if you scroll all the way to the bottom, you will find the “Navigation bar” to open that up.
Step 5 – Make sure to choose the “Buttons“.
[Additionally, you can choose the order of the buttons on the Home Screen panel as well.]
You will see the Home Screen button has returned on your phone.
Fix 2 – Enable the Apps screen button
If you are still facing issues finding the Home Screen button, follow these steps –
Step 1 – Just swipe up on any blank spot on your phone.
Step 2 – Then, tap the “⋮” on the search box for the App Drawer.
Step 3 – Next, touch the “Settings“.
Step 4 – On the Settings page, toggle the “Show Apps screen button on Home screen” to “On” mode.
Now, close everything and restart your phone. When the phone restarts, you will see your Home Button has reappeared.
Fix 3 – Use the Gestures
This is not a solution for this issue, but a recommendation. It takes a few days but you don’t even need those buttons anymore!
Step 1 – Open up the Settings on your phone.
Step 2 – After this, open up the “Display” section.
Step 3 – One more time, open up the “Navigation bar“.
Step 4 – Choose “Swipe Gestures” to open the Gestures.
Now, you can use the gestures on your phone instead of using the regular navigation buttons.
