Fix 1 – Tweak the Performance Core Ratio
You have to download the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility to change the performance core ratio via software.
Step 1 – Download the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility from the respective website.
Step 2 – Before using the “Download” option in that page, make sure to check the Windows OS version.
Step 3 – Once you have got the installer, run the Intel Extreme Tuning utility.
Step 4 – Just agree to the terms and tap “Install” option to install the software.
Step 5 – Once you have installed it, you have to restart your computer. Tap the “Restart” to restart your computer so that you can use the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility tool.
Step 6 – Open up the Intel Extreme Tuning utility on your computer.
Step 7 – This time, change the ‘Performance Core Ratio‘ from “54x“.
IMPORTANT NOTE – In some cases, reducing this value further to 53x to 52x or even lower value can fix the problem for you. If that doesn’t work, try lowering the CPU speed. Stop any undervolting activity, if you were doing so earlier.
Once you have changed this particular modifier, restart the COD game where you are having this problem.
Fix 2 – Update the GPU driver
Another solution that you can apply on your case is to update the GPU driver to the latest version.
Step 1 – Open the NVIDIA App or GeForce Experience app.
Step 2 – Next, go to the “Drivers” tab.
Step 3 – Click the “Download” to download the NVIDIA app driver.
Step 4 – After downloading the driver, install the driver same way.
Wait till the graphics driver update is installed.
