This is a feature of the iPhone where it delivers the notification later in a cluster format so that you don’t get bombarded with continuous alerts and screen cues.
Fix 1 – Leave the Telegram app running
One of the easiest solutions in this is to leave the Telegram app running in the background.
Step 1 – Just open the Telegram app and let it run in the background.
Step 2 – While the app is open in the background, you can carry on your normal tasks.
Step 3 – This way, whenever a message comes to your Telegram account, the notifications will show up on your iPhone instantaneously.
Check whether you are getting the notification alerts or not.
Fix 2 – Turn off the low power mode
When your iPhone is low on battery, the notification system does get restricted as well.
Step 1 – So, open the Settings window and load up the “Battery” settings.
Step 2 – Disable the “Low Power Mode” in there.
While the Low Power mode is turned off, the Telegram notifications should function properly.
NOTE – If the battery reserve is too low on your iPhone, even if the battery saver is disabled, there can be a noticeable lag in the notification system. So, you must put the phone on charging to fix this.

Telegram allows you to reset all of its notification parameters to the default setting.

If Telegram is not allowed to run in the backyard, the messages and subsequent notifications will be delayed.
Step 1 – Quickly, open up the Settings page.
Step 2 – Next, go to the “Apps” sector.
Step 3 – In that Apps page, look for the “Telegram” app and open that up.
Step 4 – Enable the “Background App Refresh” mode for Telegram.
