Are the contacts not syncing on the Telegram app? Telegram does need your explicit permission to get access to the contact book on your iPhone. So, if you have denied the permission of the contacts to the Telegram app, none of the contacts will get synced into there. These fixes should be helpful in troubleshooting this issue.
Fix 1 – Sync the Contacts in Telegram
Maybe the contacts in the Telegram are not synced properly in the Telegram app.
Step 1 – At first, open the Telegram app on your iPhone.
Step 2 – In the main Telegram page, go to the “⚙” button in the bottom-right corner.
Step 3 – There, open the “Privacy & Security” settings, there.
Step 4 – After opening the Privacy & Settings page, scroll all the way down to the “Data Settings” module. Open that up.

Fix 3 – Clear the entire Telegram cache
The current version of the Telegram app may have accumulated too much cache data. You can just clear it up and solve the issue.
Step 1 – Open up the Telegram app, if you haven’t done that already.
Step 2 – Next, tap the “⚙Settings” menu.
Step 3 – In the main Settings page, open up the “Data and Storage” menu.
Step 4 – On the following page, open up the “Storage Usage” option.

Step 4 – Search for the “telegram” and install the “Telegram Messenger” app on your iPhone.

Step 6 – As soon as you have launched the app for the first time, it will ask for contact permission. So, tap the “Continue” button.
Step 7 – Next, tap the “Full Access” to provide full access of your contacts to the Telegram app.
