The nearby sharing feature on windows systems made it easier for the users to share the files without having to transfer them via USB device like in some olden days. When any user wants to share any files through Bluetooth or Wi-Fi from their system to another windows system, they only need to enable this nearby sharing feature and send the files.
The received files on the other windows system get saved at the location that is the downloads folder which is set by default by the system. Sometimes, the users do not wish to save many files in the Downloads folder to avoid ambiguity with other downloaded files from elsewhere.

How to Change Default Save Files Location in Nearby Sharing in Windows 11
Changing the default path set to save the files is not so difficult in the nearby sharing on windows and it can be done using the settings app as explained below with the steps.
Step 1: Open the Settings app window on your system. To do so, you need to press the Windows + I keys together on your keyboard.
Step 2: Make sure you are on the System page in the Settings window, by clicking on it on the left side as shown below.
Step 3: Next you should select the Nearby sharing option from the list on the right side of the Settings window as shown below.
Step 4: Then, you can see an option called Save files I receive to. But the Change button has been greyed out.
Step 5: To activate the Change button, you need to make sure the Nearby sharing feature is turned on.
Step 6: So firstly, select the My devices only radio button to turn on the Nearby sharing feature.
NOTE: You can also choose Everyone nearby if you are in a safe environment. (Not some cafe and public place)
Step 7: Now you can notice that automatically the Bluetooth also has been turned on by the system if it was off earlier and the Change button gets activated.
Step 8: Click Change to browse the location where you want to save the received files from the nearby sharing.
Step 9: A select folder window appears on the screen.
Step 10: Please browse the folder on your computer which you want to select as the save location.
Step 11: Once you have selected the folder, click the Select Folder button in the window as shown in the below image.
Step 12: Now you can see that the path save location under the Save files I receive to option has been changed.
Step 13: You can close the Settings page after this is done.
