Why can’t I send large video and how to counter this?
The email attachments, whether it is a high resolution photo or a document or even a video, needs to be less than 25 MB. So, sharing large video files in straight forward way on Gmail is not possible. But, there is a way. The answer to your question is to use the Google Drive. There are three easy steps to perform if you want to send the video or image file.
Step 1 – Install Google Drive (if it is not installed on the device already)
Step 2 – Upload the video/image file to the drive
Step 3 – Change the access control of the file
Step 4 – Send the email along with the link of the video file

STEP 1 – Install Google Drive
Step 1 – If you don’t have Google Drive installed on your iPhone, open App Store.
Step 2 – Next, search and install “Google Drive” from the search bar.
Once you have installed, log into it using your Google account credential. Now, you may use the same Google account from which you are sending the email. It is not obligatory.
STEP 2 – Upload the Video file
Now, you have to upload the particular image file to Google Drive and change it’s access control.
Step 1 – Open the Photos app and reach the location of the video or image file that you want to share. Open to view the file.
Step 2 – Next, tap the “Share” button to open the sharing menu.
Step 3 – Scroll sideways and tap “More” option to explore more apps.
Step 4 – Finally, select the “Drive” option.
Step 5 – Later, choose a suitable location on your Drive to upload the file.

Step 3 – Change the access control of the file
You have to move the restriction over the file so that you can share it with others.
Step 1 – Open the Google Drive and locate the uploaded file.
Step 2 – After opening it up, tap the three-dot button and tap “Manage Access” option.
Step 3 – Tap the “General Access” option.
Step 4 – Next, tap the next option to load it up.
Step 5 – Select the “Anyone with the link” option.
Step 6 – Return to the home page of the Google Drive. Now, tap the same three-dot button beside the video file and tap “Copy link” to copy the video link.
This way, anyone with this valid link should have the access to the video or image file.
Step 4 – Send the email with link
You can now send the email containing the link to the file on the Google Drive.
Step 1 – Open the Gmail or any other email client that you have on your iPhone.
Step 2 – Next, tap “Compose Email” button to start composing an email.
Step 3 – Fill in the necessary information in there and paste the copied video link in the email.
Step 4 – Finally, tap the Send button to send the email.
After you have sent the email, the person on the other end can view the image or video using the link.
