Apple Watch is talking during workout – How to fix

Having your Apple Watch talking while you are in the middle of your workout session doesn’t help. It can distract you from your rigorous training session, where you want a distraction-free environment. So, if your Apple Watch is talking loudly while you are training or doing an activity, this guide will help you to stop that. We have discussed the easiest approach that you may take to disable certain feature on the Apple Watch.

Why Apple Watch is talking during workout?

Your Apple Watch comes with different sensors that it uses to get a range of metrics. While you are working out, it becomes something more than just a wristwatch. It becomes your health assistant. The watch can call out different things while you are working out, like, achievements, goals or other workout-specific features. Siri does this so that you don’t have to manually read out about workout in the middle of performing the hassle.

Now, while this feature is useful for many users, generally the early users, it may not be entirely beneficial for the rest of veterans watch users. If you know about the workout or have another dedicated device to keep track of it, you won’t want your Apple Watch to read out the useless information. You can solve it with minimal effort. Just deactivate the ‘Voice Feedback’ feature should do the trick.

Fix – Disable the Voice Feedback feature

Execute these steps carefully.

Step 1 – Tap the crown button on the watch once.

Step 2 – Next, when it opens up the apps list, tap the “⚙” button to open it up.

After making this change, your watch won’t call out during your workout automatically. However, if you want to listen to Siri’s call-outs, you may turn this on anyway.

Hope this works out for you!
