Why the Voice to Text is not working on the iPhone?
Voice to Text requires the microphone access. It also has to go through some permissions or access to your device features. So, if the Voice to Text is not working, or you can’t dictate your message from the keyboard, there must be some problem with the microphone settings. Like-you must enable the Dictation feature to use the voice to text efficiently.
Fix – 1 Enable the Dictation feature
You have to enable the Dictation feature on your iPhone for it to work properly.
Step 1 – You can begin the process by opening up the Settings on the iPhone.
Step 2 – Next, open up the “General” settings.
Step 3 – Later, find the “Keyboard” settings and open it up.
Step 4 – When the Keyboard settings loads up, find the “Enable Dictation” settings and turn that on.

Fix 2 – Allow Siri Dictation through restrictions
If the iPhone has content restrictions, you have to manually allow the Siri and Dictation feature.

Step 2 – After opening the Screen Time settings, load up the “Content & Privacy Restrictions” mode.
Step 3 – You will find a list of options there. Just tap the “Allowed Apps & Features” panel.

Fix 3 – Enable the ‘Hey Siri’ function
If the issue still persists, you should enable ‘Hey Siri’ module from the settings.
Step 1 – Get to the Settings page quickly.
Step 2 – Open up the “Siri” settings there.
Step 3 – After opening the Siri settings, open the “Talk to Siri” settings.
Step 4 – Switch on the “Siri or Hey Siri” option.
As soon as do that, iPhone automatically starts the Siri setup process.
Step 5 – Tap “Continue” to start the Hey Siri process.
The next part of the process is very simple. All you have to do is read aloud the prompts that appear on your screen. There should be a minimum of five prompts that you have to read aloud to complete the Siri setup process.
