Share Focus status is greyed out in iPhone: Fix

The ‘Share Focus Status’ mode on your iPhone works like a charm as it can notify the person who is trying to reach you while you are in the Focus Mode. So, if you can’t turn on the ‘Share Focus Status’ mode on your iPhone, the feature won’t let others know that you are in a Focus mode. Generally, you need to enable the ‘Share Across Device’ feature for this one to work.

Fix 1 – Turn on the iMessage on Mac

You have to turn on the iMessage option on your Mac or other Apple Device where you want to share your Focus Status. The Show Focus Status only works when your devices have the iMessage option enabled on all the participating machines. You can do this following this path –

Step 1 – Open the Messages app.

Step 2 – There, you have to go to the Settings tab.

Step 3 – There, you have to enable the “Enable Messages in iCloud” feature.

After this, you can enable the ‘Share Focus Status’ feature in your iPhone settings.

Fix 2 – Sync the iCloud Drive

This feature need the iCloud Drive to be enabled on all the iOS and Mac devices. So, you must enable the iCloud Drive from your iPhone settings to share the focus status information.

Step 1 – Open your iPhone and go to its Settings.

Step 2 – In that Settings page, tap on your Apple ID in there.
