Does the sent mails are not showing up in the Sent folder on your iPhone? If you are wondering whether there is some issue with the Mail app, there isn’t. Start to follow the steps on your iPhone and you will see the Sent mails on the Mail app on the device.
Fix 1 – Turn off the Undo Send Delay feature
Setting the ‘Undo Send Delay’ feature for too much time can adversely affect the appearance of the sent mails in the Sent folder.
Step 1 – Load the Settings on your iPhone.
Step 2 – Next, open the “Apps” pane.
Step 3 – In there, scroll down and open up the “Mail” app.
Step 4 – When you get to the Mail app settings, go to the ‘Sending’ tab and tap the “Undo Send Delay” option.
Step 5 – Now, you must set this to “Off” mode. Otherwise, if you don’t want it to be disabled completely, you can set it to a minimal value of your preference.
Once you have disabled the ‘Undo Send Delay’ feature, all the mails you send will appear in the Sent mailbox (or, the Sent folder) normally.
Fix 2 – Disable and re-enable the Mail options
You can fix it by disabling the Mail feature for the affected email account as well.
Step 1 – On your iPhone Settings page, open up the “Apps” tab.
Step 2 – Once you have opened up the Apps tab, find the “Mail” app.
Step 3 – In the Mail app, tap the “Mail Accounts” section.
There you will see the list of accounts in there.
Step 4 – You have to open the main category where the mail account actually belongs to. Like, if it is a Gmail account, tap that. Or, if you are having this problem with the iCloud account, go there.
Step 5 – Now, you must disable the “Mail” option.
Step 6 – Later, re-enable the “Mail” parameter.
After re-enabling the Mail services, quit the Settings window. All the mails will appear in the Sent box, again.
Fix 3 – Restart the iPhone
A bug could’ve caused the problem. So, restarting the iPhone should solve the issue.
Step 1 – Hold the Volume Up and the Power button together for 3-4 seconds.
Step 2 – The ‘Slide to power off‘ toggle will show up there. Use that to reboot the iPhone.
When your iPhone does get restarted, get back to the Mail app and check the Sent box, and you will find all the delivered emails there.
Fix 4 – Check for large attachments
Another reason why some of the emails may not appear in the Sent box folder at once, is due to the large size of the attachment file it carries. If you have attached a heavy attachment file with the email, it takes time to deliver that to the recipient’s email address. This also depends upon which type of network (Wi-Fi or Cellular data) that you are using.
Fix 5 – Use a different network
A change of network can help you fix the mails not showing up in the Sent box on your iPhone.
Whether the sent mails have huge attachments or large in numbers, the network plays a vital role in every part of the email delivery process. So, connect your iPhone to Wi-Fi and see whether you can view the mails in the Inbox or not.
